New Class Term Starts Sept. 16th

We are pleased to announce that the Saturday morning music classes for children recommences on Sat 16th September 2023 from 10.30 am at Summerhill college, for a 13 week term. Classes are available in whistle, flute, fiddle, button accordion, concertina and harp. Beginners, intermediate and advanced all catered for. 

The branch operates an instrument bank whereby a range of traditional instruments are available to hire per term for a  fee, to cover all instruments taught in the classes. 

The Class Bookings portal will be open soon. Please follow our Facebook page for details on when this will go live. When it does, you will be able to book your class(es) and instrument rental as well as pay the annual membership fee.

Adult classes

We will also be running Adult Music classes. The adult classes will commence on Tuesday 26th of September at 7.45 pm for 12 weeks. The Adult classes are available for beginner, improver and advanced standard, for wind and string traditional instruments. Advanced players in other instruments are welcome for repertoire development and to provide the opportunity of playing with other adults. Adults can also avail of the rental instrument bank.
