Autumn Term Starts Saturday Oct 5th 2024
We are pleased to announce that the Saturday morning music classes for children recommences on Sat Oct 5th from 10.30 am at Summerhill college, for a 10 week term. Classes are available in whistle, flute, fiddle, button accordion, concertina and harp. Beginners, intermediate and advanced all catered for.
Please enroll for classes asap but no later than 1st Oct to assist organisation and ensure that your child has a place. All those with instruments on hire must renew the hire fee when enrolling for classes, or return instrument.
The branch operates an instrument bank whereby a range of traditional instruments are available to hire per term for a fee, to cover all instruments taught in the classes.

Children's Fees for 16 week term:
One child €80
Two children €140
Three children €180
Four children €200

Adult classes
We will also be running Adult Music classes as usual. The Adult classes will commence on Tuesday 8th October 2024 at 7.45 pm for 9 weeks. The Adult classes are available for beginner, improver and advanced standard, for wind and string traditional instruments. Advanced players in other instruments are welcome for repertoire development and to provide the opportunity of playing with other adults. Adults can also avail of the rental instrument bank.
Dates for Autumn Adult classes (9 weeks) are as follows:
October: Tuesdays 8th/15th/22nd (mid term break 29 Oct)
November: Tuesdays 5th/12th/19th/26th
December: Tuesdays 3rd/10th
Adult fee €72 - 9 class term
