We are starting back to classes this Sat 15th Sep. We are offering 47 different classes every Saturday morning across 12 teachers. If you need to finalise your enrolment, please do so this Saturday morning in the main building.

A second class €30;

Just a quick reminder that If your child wishes to take a 2nd or 3rd class at Fred

Finn on Saturdays, each additonal class costs just €30. This offers many children the opportunity to continue with their main instrument & take up a new one, or to do dancing and another class.Advanced Music Classes for Teenagers: (Flute/TW/Fiddle/Concertina)This year we have 2 advanced wind classes for teenagers (One with Michael Hurley & one with Lorraine Sweeney). We also have an advanced teenager fiddle class with Philip Duffy. All advanced wind & fiddle classes are at 11:50 to 12:30. Advanced concertina with Breda at 12:30. Please email fredfinnsligo@gmail.com to book a place in these classes.Smaller Flutes available for rental for 9/10 year olds, just purchased.The branch has this week purchased a number of smaller flutes in the key of F to allow younger players of approx age 9 or 10 to start the flute. In many cases,the full D flute is too large for younger, smaller fingers. If you are interested in your child joining a beginners flute class please chat to us on Saturday, or email us. These F flutes may work for your child. These smaller flutes will be available to rent. We have purchased these after talking to a number of interested parents of 9 and 10 year olds at the registration evening.Providing the best service we possibly can:We aim to provide children with an opportunity to learn music in an organised structure. If you as a parent have queries, please direct them to the enrolment team in the main building, rather than individual teachers, to ensure all children have uninterrupted class each week. We ask that parents do not interrupt classes to have a discussion with teachers. Many thanks for your understanding in this area.Instrument rental: available to those attending Fred Finn classes for more than one term, subject to availability and terms,conditions.
