New Term Details - Autumn 2018

Registration will take place for the new Fred Finn CCÉ music term at Merville Community Centre (next to Centra, Maugheraboy, Sligo) on Wednesday 5th September at 7pm-8:30pm. Classes will commence on Saturday morning 15th September.Children should bring their instruments so they can be assigned to correct class levels on the evening of enrolment. Places and times assigned to children for classes are on a first come basis on the evening of enrolment.Any instruments currently out on hire must also be returned on the evening of enrolment.We look forward to seeing our students return after the Summer break and to hearing music again at the Gaelscoil on Saturday mornings.New members are always welcome, so come along to registration and we'll answer any of your questions and guide you as to what instrument(s) may suit your child. Adult classes will also be available, so you can ask about these too.Classes are available in Tin Whistle, Flute, Fiddle, Button Accordion, Concertina, Harp. Instrument rental also available to those who have been attending Fred Finn classes for two terms in harp, concertina, fiddle, accordion.Sean-Nos Dancing Classes continue  on Saturday mornings this year: In additional to our music classes in TW, Flute, Fiddle, Accordion, Concertina, Harp, this year we will be continuing a sean-nos dancing class with Eimear Mulvey. The sean-nos dancing class will be held 9:30-11am in three half hour slots.  (Dancing class is subject to sufficient enrolment numbers).
