Fred Finn CCÉ Class Enrolment Tuesday January 9th 2018 at Merville

Class enrolment for the new term at Fred Finn CCÉ is on this Tuesday evening, January 9th in Merville Community Centre (7-8PM). Children return to their usual classes on Saturday Jan 13th. There is no change in your child's teacher or the time of your child's class.

A few points to note:

• January Enrolment:  In January, we accept new beginners in tin-whistle and flute only, depending on space in classes. We do not accept new complete beginners in fiddle, concertina, accordion, or harp. New Improvers, Intermediate & Advanced players may enrol in classes for the January term.
• Class times remain the same for your child in January: Children return to their normal classes in January. Times do not change for childrens’ classes.
• Beginner’s Harp waiting list:  There is a waiting list for the beginner’s harp class. If your child is interested in enrolling in the beginner’s harp class for Sep 2018, please add your name now to the harp class waiting list
• SCT Exam entries: SCT music exam entries must be received by Sat 20^th Jan. This is the final date for receipt of SCT exam entries. Please see attachment for more details on SCT exams & return entry form & fee on Jan 20th.
• Grupa Cheoil Auditions will be held on Sat 27^th Jan (10:30 to 12PM).
• Sean-Nós Classes- Continue on Saturday mornings 9:30 to 10:30AM with Eimear Mulvey. Subject to numbers, we may run a complete beginners sean nós class 10:30 to 11am on Saturdays. Please let us know if you are interested.
• Adult Classes-Adult classes recommence on Thur 18^th Jan at 8PM (Registration at 7:45PM). Classes are available for string & wind instruments (Beginners welcome). Teachers are Fiona Doherty & Michael Hurley. Term of 10 classes: Jan 18^th, Jan 25^th, Feb 1^st/8^th/ 22^nd, March 1^st/8^th/ 15^th/22^nd & April 12^th. Beginners, improvers & advanced all welcome.
• Free Singing Classes continue on Sat 20^th Jan (9AM to 9:30AM). Schedule of dates to follow. Children will be working on songs for the Fleadh. All children encouraged and welcome to attend.
